Metals Valve’s cast steel globe valves are designed & manufactured according to relative BS, ISO, API and ASMR standards. Globe valves are closing down valves in which the closure member (disc) is moved squarely on and off the seat. It is a linear-motion valve characterized by a body with longer face-to-face that accommodates follow passage sufficiently long enough to ensure smooth flow through the valve without any sharp turns. Cast steel globe valves can be used in both on-off and throttling applications. Because of the short travel of the disc between the open and closed positions and the robust wear-resistant seating design, globe valves are ideally suitable for frequent stroking services. The cast steel globe valves, can be made from various materials covering carbon steel, high-temperature alloy steel, stainless steel, low temperature steel, and special alloys, etc.
